My Students

The students at our school are amazing! They come into the classroom excited to learn and become involved in whatever topic that is in the plan. We have wonderful support from our parents. We have a very diverse population of students: culturally, economically, and with different learning abilities. It's become my goal to try and stay ahead of them!

Our third grade team is challenging our students to work independently and take charge of their learning.

This is a learning concept in itself, and we are guiding them along the way.

Our students are working hard to create a solid base of education. They appreciate what they have now, and they are learning to use their knowledge to take control of their education. We love to see their excitement grow as they are introduced to new information.

My Project

Our students are loving their special reading block! I've never seen so many kids flopped on the floor engrossed in their books.

Our class needs some more collaboration books to read.

A group wants to read Hugh Lofting's Dr. Dolittle, while another wants to get together and listen as they read some of the book sets we already have.

This project will provide our students the books they need, as well as some CD players that they can share. Several have already decided that they want to write their own play about Dr. Dolittle, with the artists doing the scenery, and an animal part for everyone in the group: all 54 of them! I can hardly wait to take the pictures!
