My Students

Last year my students entered a classroom that was bright and colorful. It was a classroom filled with student work and examples of student learning were everywhere! I want to be able to do that again this year in my new classroom, which is located in the oldest part of the building.

My students are energetic and inquisitive 8th graders from Boston who share a sense of pride in their community and in their classrooms.

They love to see their work displayed around the school and in class, and they also love the opportunity to look at their classmates' work as well.

My Project

This year I moved to a new classroom in an older part of the building. I have an ample amount of wall space in my classroom. The only problem is that most of that space is taken up by old and crumbling chalk boards. Being able to replace these chalkboards with bulletin boards will allow me to create a space to display student work.

With your donations, I will be able to brighten up an otherwise rundown and outdated classroom.

I am looking forward to creating a welcoming classroom for my students! They are always so proud to see their work displayed.
