My Students
Welcome to my Pre-K classroom! We are a happy group of 3 and 4-year-olds who are eager and happy to learn! Can you hear us singing? Can you hear us playing? We are ready to learn and succeed!
We are an inviting and curious group of children!
Science is our favorite subject because we love animals! We are an attentive group that lives in the Harlem neighborhood of NYC. We are a Title I school and many of us come from further neighborhoods just to be a part of our fabulous school.
My Project
My students are three and four year olds and at this age children learn through play and hands-on experiences. The possibilities of playing and learning with a light table are enormous! The light table will not only provide my students the opportunity to explore light but other concepts such as color mixing, shapes, cause/effect, and countless others.
The light table will also be a place for collaboration among the students.
This will be a great tool for them to let their imaginations soar, build their vocabulary, and increase their attention span. The manipulatives include a variety of translucent objects including colored chips, numbers, dominoes, pattern blocks, and letters.
