Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a new book truck for our library to better support our students in managing their library materials. A new book truck would provide a designated space for students to return books and keep their selected books organized during library visits. This addition would greatly improve the efficiency of our daily routines and help maintain a more orderly and accessible space for all learners. Given the frequent use of our library and the importance of fostering independent reading habits, a sturdy and functional book truck is much needed.
My students love visiting the library to exchange books, and this book truck will give them a place to return their books.
I always introduce my students to a variety of literature including fiction, nonfiction, biographies, graphic novels, etc. Instilling a love of reading is one of my top priorities, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that continues no matter what. We would greatly appreciate your support.
