Third Graders Seek Art Materials to Benefit the Environment
My students need paint brushes, paint paper, instructional visual DVDs, tessellation posters, and one animal leaf classroom/collage pack for our wildlife preservation project.
My third grade art students want to help bring the beauty of nature and wildlife to the public attention. We had a famous artist come into our school telling us tales about his trip to Africa and the animals he saw and painted. My students were deeply moved and want to help make a positive change.
My students are in a Title One school with limited funds for a proper art education.
This doesn't stop us from creating things using recyclable items, or what someone else might call junk, which we view as newfound treasure. My students wish for an opportunity to get the word out with a "vengeance" on how important our animals in wildlife are. They feel empathy and a love of the beauty of our animals, as well as a need to help these animals survive.
My Project
My students need paint brushes, paint paper, instructional visual DVDs, tessellation posters, and an animal leaf classroom/collage pack for our wildlife preservation project. We would like to learn more about painting animals, and the use of tessellations, collage, and making a book so that we can get the word out. This project means a great deal to my students to show that they too can make a change in this world by using their voice. A voice that needs to be heard. We would like the opportunity to speak out using posters, paintings, and making journal books expressing a poem or a message on benefiting the one environment that we have called, "our life".
We need your help desperately to save our furry friends.
My students realize that our life is not just about ourselves, but about the animals lives that live together with us on this Earth. We all need to take care of each other and form unity. Please help my students get these supplies and help us spread the word. We thank every donor that cares, and I feel blessed to have such caring students in my school. Please help us achieve our goal for a "Furry Vengeance". Thank you so very much!
