My Students
My students are amazing third graders who are curious about the world around them. They are a group of fun, friendly, and loving individuals who just want to learn new things. Even at such a young age, they understand the value of relationships with their peers and the adults they know well.
My school is a Title l school.
According to the U.S. Dept. of Education, Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended (ESEA) provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. That being stated, I will be requesting various classroom supplies that I am in need of during the school year for class projects and lessons.
It is imperative that my students have the things they need to learn and grow. Since they are still so young, I want to be able to provide them with a multitude of opportunities to learn in new ways.
My Project
I am requesting various classroom supplies to make our transition back into the classroom a flawless one. For over a year, many of my students were learning remotely.
It's time to get back into the classroom and use the supplies requested.
The book baskets I'm requesting will show a classroom that is organized and inviting. The copy paper will allow me to make copies for all the students to work productively. The many pencils I'm requesting will help to reduce the spread of germs. Finally, the laminating sheets will allow me to create keepsakes for the students so they will always remember the amazing year they had in third grade.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
