Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom we have multiple academic goals we are constantly working to achieve. It can be challenging to keep students engaged on a daily basis. We know that students enjoy hearing positive feedback on how they’re doing, but we also know they really enjoy receiving an incentive (snacks, fidgets, toys) for their positive behaviors, too!

My third graders are eager to hear how well they are doing in the moment.

I make sure to highlight their good behaviors on the spot and follow it up with our school grizzly buck. We have daily school and classroom drawings everyday! We also work towards free time on Fridays and they love to play games, build Legos and use white boards to free draw.
