I want to help my third graders learn critical character and personal development skills like teambuilding, responsibility, growth mindset, sportsmanship, problem solving, patience, friendship, and many more. I want to help my third graders build a strong, positive, and inviting classroom community. I am hoping to do this with a product from Teachers Pay Teachers. I am hoping that with a gift card to purchase Teaching with a Mountain View's "Using Picture Books for Character Education" and the listed picture books, I can help my students become the best versions of themselves.
I think with these products (picture books and gift card to buy the teaching resource) I will be able to incorporate SEL activities into my third grade classroom and integrate these activities with other subjects throughout our day.
