Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class of 29 third grade students are absolutely amazing! Due to covid 19 hardships, lots of my students lack basic school supplies. Supplies such as markers, pens, and paper will help so many of my students with the school supplies they need to thrive in both the classroom, and at home.

Many of my students also do not have reusable water bottles to bring to school, which leads to me giving out several plastic cups per day, which is why I chose to receive some of those for my students.

In addition, I also included some art supplies for my class including paint and various types of special paper. My students absolutely love art and I believe it greatly helps with their socio emotional learning and their love for school.
