Help me give my students laptops to use daily in class! Students in third grade need the opportunity to research, explore, and discover the world around them. Especially in a PBL school with lots to discover!
In this project, I am requesting five small laptops for the use by students in my classes. We are a high-energy group of departmentalized 3rd graders who are excited to learn, grow, and have the opportunity to engage with technology! We are a newer school, still building up our "stores" of resources and technology, but I would love to get a leg-up on providing these valuable experiences!
Our school has a project-based learning focus with significant opportunity for research and exploration of the world around us.
With these computers, we will be able to give more students the opportunity to complete online research, participate in online intervention and practice. They will also practice real-world skills like typing, which will benefit them during testing season in their fourth-grade year!
