This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year, there is exponential growth in STEM careers. By being able to provide grade level standard appropriate STEM lessons, I can help build their interest in science fields. I am requesting various materials including STEM Challenge cards, books on STEM (Women Who Make, Move On Up That Beanstalk, Jack!, The Girl Who Thought in Pictures, and Frankie Sparks), an Interactive STEM Kits, Force and Motion Activity Set to use in conjunction with our English Language Arts Unit on Force and Motion, and other items.

It has become more important than ever to invite and encourage students to learn about, and pursue, careers in STEM, ESPECIALLY girls.
