This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will help me to create a safe and cozy feeling in our classroom so that students feel comfortable learning here every day. They will help me create an environment where they feel comfortable and safe to take risks and strive to do their best. The beanbag chairs will be added to our calm corner, where students can go when they are feeling big feelings or need to calm down. Crayons, markers, and scissors will be used to color during social-emotional learning lessons and for students to express their creativity. Thank you for taking the time to look through this project, it is so appreciated!
