My Project
Future Scientists
I want my third-grade students to be able to observe live animals in the classroom as they learn about classifying animals in the next English Language Arts Unit.
They will learn about the different characteristics of animals and be able to retain more of what they read because they will be studying the live animals as well. They are enthusiastic learners who love animals and are looking forward to writing a short research paper about an animal they choose. I will create a variety of activities centered around observing the live animals in order to learn the similarities and differences organism's life cycles.
