This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love sharing current events in social studies and science. These magazines will enhance students knowledge on real life events. Engaging students to read can be difficult when they are not interested in the topic. This magazine allows students to work with each other in groups and have rigorous conversations and interactions. This will also increase their knowledge on real life events. My students love to learn and the more reading material they are exposed to the more I see the engagement happening in the classroom.
