My Students

Our third graders love to engage and challenge each other. They come to school excited to see each other, ready to share and explore learning.

Our kids focus on building relationships and partnering with peers to see learning from different perspectives.

We work hard to understand our different experiences and backgrounds which give us all an opportunity to learn from each other. We love to communicate with each other and ask questions. The best part is when we notice the learning and celebrate together.

My Project

Opening up a third grade classroom, I've found a few needs for this new endeavor. Knowing that kids love to read a variety of texts, please help us get these awesome graphic novels in our library. Kids will enjoy reading these books and noticing how the author tells a story through many avenues.

We will use these texts and high-interest reading and apply what we learn to our own writing.

The author's craft will pop out and we can utilize this work as exemplars for our own writing.

We also love to work together to practice math skills. Adding some third grade games to our math resources will make our practice even more fun.
