My third grade students come to school excited to learn and to share their learning with others. They are eager to learn how to use technology to enhance their success and skills.
That can be difficult when we are low on technology due to class size.
Having two more Chromebooks in our classroom would be very beneficial to my third graders. With the amount of students I have this year, we don't have enough pieces of working technology to allow for all students to work. We instead need to sign out the school Chromebooks but be mindful of sharing with other classrooms at the same time. It would be so great to allow my students to have enough technology to be able to complete and design class projects, presentations, share work with each other, and also work to their own individual needs to achieve growth.
Students can use the technology to practice math fact fluency, sharpen up skills at their pace, read and listen to books, research topics of interest, etc. Having enough technology for everyone opens a whole new world and I'd like to be able to provide that for my students.
