My diverse group of students arrive at school each morning wearing bright smiles. Their friendly voices not only greet me, but they greet each other too. A beautiful thing to witness. It makes me so excited to start my day with them. Every morning I think to myself, how lucky am I to be their teacher?
My students come to school on a quest for knowledge, all hungry to learn more!
I am truly in awe of my creative students as they are driven and highly motivated to better their own learning. Their faces light up at positive attention and praise and I try my hardest to create a safe and fun learning environment for them.
My students get so excited about chapter books. I would like to help them get their hands on chapter books for small group novel studies to increase their reading fluency, comprehension, and of course their love for reading. The opportunity to have high-quality literature in all reading levels will help me meet the needs of all my students while allowing each student to speak to their peers about the book they've been reading.
Your generosity will help my students to be met where they are education-wise and build their reading skills. It is my hope that this will spark a bigger love for reading in each of them. School is much easier when you feel supported and I want that for my students.
