This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am trying to build lifelong learners by teaching my students to think. My classroom does not have enough white board space to allow all of my students space for practice during math lessons.
Studies show that students who have vertical space to work are more willing to take a risk.
Students are so afraid to get an answer wrong that having a safe space to make mistakes and be able to spend some time figuring out where they went wrong creates a lifelong memory of how to solve a problem. These magnetic dry erase white boards and erasers will be a game changer for my students.
