Help me give my students the materials they need to continue learning and having fun at home.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have twenty amazing 3rd grade students that show up to class eager to learn, despite the challenges they are faced with, both in and out of the classroom. Our campus is a low income Title I school that offers free breakfast and lunch to all children. My students have a wide variety of learning styles and levels, all of which deserve the best education possible. Every student in my classroom is unique, and everyone in the room respects each other. I care about my students and they know it!
My goal, as a bilingual teacher, is to encourage my students to love learning and to develop lifelong independent learners.
I especially love that my students try their best on everything that comes their way. They love to read and enjoy hands-on activities. They are great helpers, and I know I can count on them. Every day, I make sure to instill good qualities that will make them amazing citizens. I want my students to remember me when they grow up, so I make them feel welcome, safe, and important on a daily basis!
My Project
I am no longer in the classroom with my students and I miss them greatly. I miss seeing the smiles on their faces when they achieve something great and we celebrate their success. Maintaining a connection with my students has been difficult, but I am thankful that I have met at least once with each and every one of my students. My students need supplies and materials so that they can relieve stress as they continue to learn from home; while having fun.
I miss my students and teaching more than ever!
The items I am requesting in this Distance Learning project relate to learning at home and socio-emotional learning. The tote bag will be filled with items that give them the opportunity to learn and have fun at home. The stress balls are to help relive stress since ours are in the classroom and the game is for them to take their mind off of the coronavirus. The items are sure to bring smiles to my students faces while staying safe during this difficult time. Things weren't supposed to end this way and I want my students to know how much I love and miss them.
