In global studies, our scholars will evaluate the effectiveness of the various strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
Using the 17 United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG), scholars will create semester portfolios that display ideas, projects, and campaigns of how each team's chosen country can align with their assigned sustainable goal.
In teams, scholars will collaborate daily using the flexible seating method to help encourage scholars to focus on a UN SDG and country to research, in turn sharing their ideas, through their project-based learning efforts, how each country might improve the lives of their citizens and how we can make changes locally to support each goal.
