Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher, I continue to grow and evolve practice to match student needs. With this in mind I am asking for adjustable tables so that I can have space in my classroom that will allow for vertical non-permanent surfaces. These will allow students to collaborate and write down their learning. This will promote learning and thinking in my classroom. If you are not aware of the Thinking Classroom, it is an educational approach focused on fostering deep, independent, and collaborative thinking among students. Developed by Dr. Peter Liljedahl, it emphasizes active learning and student engagement.
