My Students
My students have a great love of learning. They enjoy coming to school each day. Most of my students are from a low economical social status. They don't have much so they cherish the things they do have. Our school has more than 60% of our students on free lunch. This means we have a lower socio-economic status and are a title one school.
My students have a deep love of learning and want to explore learning in many different ways.
They love coming to school and come excited about what the day will hold for them. These students are excited about life and learning.
My Project
Giving my students the best education possible is very important to me. Getting my students opportunities to have hands-on experience is very key to ensuring they get a great education in my classroom. My students will be able to use the play money to get hands-on math experience. They will be able to count money and solve real-world problems with it.
Your thoughtful donation will go to ensuring my students have materials needed for hands-on, real-world, problem-solving learning.
With the wood blocks, Magnet Tiles, and tangrams, my students will be given real-world problems to solve. This will allow them to become expert problem solvers and prepare them for the rest of their lives. With the story cubes and stamps, they will be able to gain a better knowledge of literacy skills.
Being able to provide my students with these items will help my students be prepared to take on the real world. They will get comprehensions skills that will allow them to gain knowledge from what they read. Most importantly learning will be a fun safe exploration time, and they will be excited to come to school every day.
