This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my blended, bilingual preschool classroom, students of all abilities come together to learn through play. Both general education and special education students should be able to build upon their critical thinking skills and use their imaginations using the same toys. Open-ended toys offer students that opportunity!

With open-ended materials, such as a sand tray, a wooden ball sorter, and building blocks, all students are given the same opportunities to build upon their prior knowledge and skills in order to have fun and learn!

Open-ended toys offer students vast opportunities to use their critical thinking skills to push themselves to create the fun they love to have. Encouraging students to learn while playing!
