My Project
My 8th grade students are curious, creative, and eager to learn, but they often need extra support to stay organized and make sense of complex English Language Arts concepts This project will help them build interactive notebooks, which are much more than just a place to take notes; they're personalized learning tools that allow students to actively engage with content through foldables, diagrams, color-coding, graphic organizers, and hands-on reflection activities. These notebooks support multiple learning styles and help students better retain and apply what they’ve learned.
Many of my students don’t always have access to the materials they need to succeed.
By funding this project, you’ll provide essential supplies like composition notebooks, colored paper, highlighters, and organizational tools that transform blank pages into meaningful, student-created study guides. These tools help students break down difficult concepts, giving them a strong academic foundation for high school and beyond.
Interactive notebooks also encourage critical thinking, creativity, and responsibility. Students take pride in their work and become more confident learners as they see how their knowledge grows over time. With your support, our classroom will become a vibrant, organized, and student-centered space where engagement and achievement thrive.
