Help me give my students bean bag chairs to sit on in our reading center. The students will enjoy grabbing a book to read or working on assignments on the bean bag.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Russ's classroom raised $282

My Students
My students are 6th, 7th and 8th graders who are all classified with exceptional needs. Our school is a Title I school in a rural area with all of our students receiving free lunch.
Most of our students live at or below the poverty rate.
They are good kids with good hearts. My students are active learners and do their best work when they engage in the activities. They are eager to learn and want to do well and be successful.
My Project
My students will benefit from having beanbags to sit on in our reading center. These bean bags will give them a place to do their work without the confines of the desk. My students have short attention spans, need movement and differentiated instruction. This includes different seating arrangements.
The beanbags will provide my students with a place to work on their assignments or to grab a book and read.
The change from a desk will stimulate their thinking process and enhance their learning. I will be able to lead group learning activities such as games like I have/Who has from the floor.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
