My Project

Logical thinking skills are something my students are constantly honing. These skills are important because they can help students reason through important decisions, solve problems, generate creative ideas and set goals - all of which will serve them well in their future careers.

ThinkFun games are an addictive and creative way to stretch and sharpen students' logical thinking skills in the classroom.

My plan for these games is to hold a "ThinkFun Thursday" every Thursday of our math and science period. During this time, students will select a ThinkFun game and play individually or with their learning groups. The games I have selected for this project have what we call a "low floor and high ceiling" - The floor tells us how easy it is to get started with the task and the ceiling is the room for a task to grow. These games get everyone on board and are intriguing enough to further explore. I am so excited to launch this project and can't wait to further develop my students' logical thinking skills.
