My Students
I work in extremely high poverty with free lunch and breakfast for all of the students in my school. My students never fail to amaze me. They rise to any challenges; they face and teach me new things every day.
I have a large group of kindergartners ready to blossom as readers, writers, and mathematicians.
School is a fun and safe place for my students, and it is my job to make sure they want to come to my class and have what they need to be successful. I need to make sure my students are safe.
My Project
This project has a variety of item that we need in our classroom. We need white card stock to finish copying out family handprint calendars. These calendars will be made and the student will give them to their family as a gift for Christmas. This is a nice keep sake and it will last longer by putting it on white card stock.
We also need more child sized masks.
I had many to start the year but at this age they often get wet, lost, or dirty and they need a new one. Having a box in my classroom makes it easier to immediately give them a new one.
We need 10 port chargers to attach to the back of our iPad carts. We recently got one to one iPads and these ports will make charging and organizing the iPads a lot easier.
We will use the rolling cart to organize our word work activities. I will label each drawer so the students can see their choices and be able to clean up after themselves. This allows my students to select how they want to practice their words and to be in charge of their own learning.
All of these materials will help with keeping us safe, organized, and learning.
