Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During the adolescent years, students are more likely to engage in risky behaviors, explore diverse relationships and begin to develop their identity. Educating them on the following topics will allow them to make fact based, informed decisions: healthy relationships, healthy communication, consent, safety, and safe sex. I have experienced Planned Parenthood's engaging and coherent, grade level curriculum that is aligned to the Illinois and Chicago Public Schools standards. I want my students to be taught this essential information by one of their qualified educators in a virtual setting. Please help me make this possible for my amazing 8th graders!
