Help me give my students a poster and learning chart easel. This item will display our chart paper for learning in a better organized manner. In addition, we are requesting sticky chart paper, chart markers, colored paper,etc.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are wonderful kids that are eager to be challenged and inspired. They are a very diverse population in a low income area. We have a supportive school community due to the fact we are a charter school. However, resources are limited as they are at most public schools. To keep these busy minds challenged and motivated, my students will need classroom materials to help them succeed in 2nd grade. I want to grow lifelong learners, readers and leaders.
My Project
We have had a cheap $20 Ikea easel for the past year that is difficult to move, and even more difficult to clip our display learning anchor charts. The anchor charts will fall in the middle of our lessons! We are requesting a multi-purpose easel where our 2nd grade students will be provided visual aids, an interactive dry erase board, anchor charts and bottom organization.We will be able to use this during our Reading block and incorporate interactive whole group/partner based lessons. About half of the class are special needs students that are strong visual learners and will benefit from the anchor charts and visual cues.
This multi-purpose tool will benefit across all academic subject areas, especially Literacy, when learning new reading comprehension strategies whole group.We can display selected posters and anchor charts for instruction on the front of this versatile easel while storing those not in use on the back.
Conveniently roll the unit wherever you need it. The easel has a dry erase surface and two knobs for hanging the posters with self-adhesive hang tabs (included). Additional storage space underneath. It stores 75 posters.
In addition to the display chart and storage teaching and learning station, we desperately need sticky chart paper, chart markers, colored paper, as well as organization for our data folders. When students have materials they need as well as an organized atmosphere, they can achieve more. Last, we are requesting a pack of pencils to go with our classroom theme and some 3rd grade stickers. These last items will be used to make an end of the year Gift for our awesome 2nd graders. They have worked so hard all year, and deserve a gift in May, 2019.
