My students need "These Happy Golden Years" books to be able to finish the Little House Series, we are running out of time!

My Students

My students have spent time in the Big Woods, By the Shores of Silver Lake, and had a Long Winter, but now they won't be able to enjoy These Happy Golden Years.

My students are energetic and full of life 8, 9, and 10 year olds.

They live in a town of eight hundred people. Their class size is a class of nine students. There are five girls and four boys. They have really come around on their reading this year as well.

My Project

The resources that I'm requesting are nine These Happy Golden Years books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The reason that I'm requesting these books is because currently I have been reading the whole series of Laura Ingalls Wilder books and I'm afraid that since I'm only on The Long Winter, I won't get done before school lets out. I want to give the students a chance to finish the series. Then I also requested a journal written by Laura after the books took placed. I'm going to use them as ticket prizes for my end of the year ticket party. Then the students can see what Laura's life was like after.

Give these students a chance to relive the best series of books.

It will bring Laura's life into full perspective, from the time she was little in the Big Woods to when she married Almanzo.
