This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a Sped- teacher and Coach at a Title I school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they come to school each and every day to succed in the classroom and in the sport of wrestling.
To eliminate the challenge of having to pay for equipment our school tries to provide every student with a pair of shoes for the sport of wrestling.
By providing each child wrestling shoes to compete in provides them a sense of pride and team unity.
My Project
By providing our students with Asics wrestling shoes will give our wrestlers a quality brand of shoe to help them to compete in the sport of wrestling. This also helps to keep my students engaged and apart of an extra curriculum activity.
We get the shoes in school colors so that we can provide shoes for our students for years to come.
It also helps to build the students' confidence because it eliminates the fear that they do not have the proper type of wrestling shoes.
Finally it elevates the stress and burden of the student having to obtain wrestling shoes to compete in the sport of wrestling.
