Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is my first year teaching 3rd Grade, I was a kindergarten Teacher, before. The books that I have now in my library are easy for them. I haven't been able to afford books that are more challenging like Dog Man, or Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I loved those series when I was younger, and I knew as a slow reader myself, these kiddos could benefit from reading those graphic novels.
I also believe that kids need energy to do whatever they need to do, that is where snacking is important.
To have fuel to continue their day is very much needed, I try my best to contribute what I can, but I know that there will be some days where I will not be able to provide. I appreciate anything and everything that is donated. I know my kiddos will feel the same.
