The resources I have requested for my classroom are items that will help bring a "homey" classroom environment for my 8th graders. Creating a safe and comfortable learning environment will help build a culture that inspires students to engage in learning. I want to provide all the comforts of home and bring that environment to the classroom. What Junior High Student doesn't love having a piece of candy, a snack, and even the choice of flexible seating when walking into their English Class? I want to create a "Middle School" space where students feel loved and happy when they enter my room.
