Help me give my students culturally inclusive, fun, imaginative read aloud books. Books that teach the students about immigration, having a disability, exploring the world around them, and being good humans.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My scholars are the most amazing, curious, hard-working, and kind children. Every day, my goal is not just to teach them, but to let them know that they matter. I want them to know that I believe in them and that they can do anything. It is not about how much money you make or what type of car you drive.
Chase your dreams and they will become a reality.
I tell my scholars to work hard every single day. With a little faith, trust and a thirst for knowledge, they will go as far as their eyes can see!
My students are not just ordinary students, they are scholars. They not only make me smile, but anyone who comes into my room shares the same feelings I have about them. These scholars may not have all the material possessions at home, but they make the most out of what they have and exceed every goal they make. They love coming to school, asking questions, gaining new knowledge, and making friends.
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-especially since we are remote this year. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. I have watched them the past few months of school read titles just like these, and I have also asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading. These books won't only be for the students I have this year, but for years to come. Especially when we go back into the classroom, students will be able to choose from all different types of books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time.
With these new books, my students will be exposed to many different topics that are so very important in our world today.
Cultural diversity, inclusiveness, honesty, kindness, and more.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading and read alouds, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
