My Project
These are supplies needed for a pre-k classroom. TPT gift cards are needed to purchase curriculum materials that are used to teach beginning math and literacy skills. We also purchase materials that students use to express their imagination and creativity. There are multiple items that we have for using the scarves. Not only during music and dancing, scarves can be used during various instruction lessons. The books that are listed will help with teaching students social emotional skills, which are lessons that are covered throughout the school year. This is a skill that we feel is important for children to learn at an early age. An item that we have wanted for several years is the CD player so that our students can be independent in book interaction. We have audio books we found in Kaplan Learning catalog that the students could choose from. Exposure to books at an early age helps with vocabulary development, pre-reading skills, and response questions about the book. We appreciate your partnership to help us advance our students' education and have them better prepared for not only kindergarten, but throughout their entire learning years.
