They are talented and sometimes overly impulsive. They are bright with big hearts. My students love when you hear their complete thoughts and find creative, sometimes less advantageous ways to make you listen.
My school has its challenges, but I love when I'm there and miss when I'm not.
My Project
My students deserve a place where they can go and speak freely about their problems, feel safe to express who they really are, cry when they are scared, share their joys, discuss when they feel threatened, talk their problems out with friends, and calm down when the challenges of being a kid seem too much. My students need 3 bean bag chairs, 1 balance ball, and a rotating caddy to house pencils, crayons, and markers.
Your donation will help to enhance a corner for my students to relax, mediate, or be coached through whatever is bothering them.
