Help me give my students the opportunity experience theatre for the first time. They will be designing plays we read and hopefully get to see!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have shown excitement for the community behind theatre and have been bridging a lot of language barriers. I teach theater at a 'Priority' school, meaning literacy and English proficiency is below district expectations.
Students will greatly benefit by being able to demonstrate other aspects of theatre, specifically design, because visuals have no language.
These materials will be used to allow students to design; sets, costumes, lighting, sound. This allows allows a language bridge to convey ideas whilst learning new vocabulary.
For example, the markers, colored pencils, and poster boards allow students to use in-class time to design and ask clarification on vocabulary. The frames will host their work (helping decorate) and carts will allow me to host organized supplies.
