Theater Class in Need of Tripods for Self-Recordings
Help me give my students tripods so we can continue creating quality and professional productions at home, to help our cause of using theater to bring the Arts to our community.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The Renaissance Players is a theater troupe created by the Advanced Acting class at our school, for Musical Theater and The Arts. Our mission is to use Theater as tool to help bridge our school to the community.
Each year we devise relevant pieces that address current social issues, and present them to our school and community.
Past shows include "Just Another Day" (an anti-bullying short play), "Zero Tolerance" (a piece dedicated to the recent events that have been taking place at the USA/Mexico border), and an awareness piece for World AIDS Day.
We have also performed at different venues, such as Senior Centers, Nursing Homes, Elementary Schools, and Street Fairs; as well as participation in citywide festivals.
My Project
The Renaissance Players plans to continue devising original works in the digital space. Since we are fully remote now, we are basing most of our work in the form of self-recordings, and need tripods.
We plan on dipping into media arts to help bring our pieces to life and to share them to our school community.
We also plan on recreating our anti-bullying show into a short film for neighboring schools to share toward our citywide Respect For All Initiative. We will also post our productions on the schools website, and share it at our virtual Semi-Annual Arts Showcase.
