Theater and Speech Resources

Help me give my students the opportunity to cut and create music for theater production as well as software to help facilitate learning. Our high school has almost 90% of the students in theater and need your help!

My Students

I am a middle school teacher who teaches students in a rural community. The students are amazing but are limited on resources. We live in Title I district where over 50% qualify for free and reduced lunches.

I am also a high school theater and speech coach.

I take the kids locally and at the state level to help them compete at a high level in plays and competition.

My Project

Our program has a very small budget that is spent on scripts and costumes with limited resources for new equipment. The students need a MacBook to be able to cut and create music for theater performances as well as the software needed to run lights and sound. In speech, the students perform speeches based on extemp topics and have to download a large number of files for topic research. The students belong to a poorer district in the state so fundraising is limited for us to buy our own equipment.
