it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As adults we sometimes feel stressed and overwhelmed. We have developed strategies to deal with our feelings. Children also need time to develop appropriate ways to deal with their emotions. Learning how to solve problems and self regulate emotions are very important life skills to learn now, so they can be successful in school and later in life.
The Zen Zone is a safe place where students can go to practice how to self-calm, identify their feelings, and manage their emotions so that learning can ensue.
