This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students' eagerness to learn and participate in the writing community that I have created in my classroom. My goal is to provide them with all the materials they need to be successful without worrying about missing supplies. I would love to provide them with writing folders that guide them step by step on the writing process. In addition crayons, markers, and colored pencils help enhance their writing through coloring coding paragraphs as well as illustrating their prewriting story boards and final draft illustrations. My writing class is hands on with the creation of an interactive notebook which involves cutting, gluing and writing. We go through pencils and glue quickly, so I like to keep us stocked up. Finally, at the end of the day stickers make everyone smile and in my case build confidence and encouragement. Thank you in advance for providing my kiddos with the best!
