My Project

Our high school is home to a dedicated and hardworking group of students, many of whom balance academics, extracurricular activities, and part-time jobs. As we build a strong foundation for our academics and our competitive debate program, we seek funding to provide essential organizational supplies, including bankers boxes, envelopes, file folders, paper clips, Sharpies, and highlighters. These materials will not only enhance our classroom learning environment but will also be helpful for preparing students to succeed in debate competitions. Given the financial challenges faced by many of our students, supplying these items ensures that all participants have the tools they need to excel without placing an additional burden on their families.

Debate is an invaluable activity that teaches students critical thinking, research skills, and effective communication.

However, without proper organization, students struggle to manage the vast amount of research, case files, and evidence needed for competition. Bankers boxes and file folders will allow them to store and organize their materials efficiently, while highlighters and markers. will help them annotate key points for quick reference during rounds. These supplies will not only improve their competitive success but will also instill lifelong organizational skills that will benefit them academically and professionally.

By funding these supplies, you will directly contribute to the success of our students, both in the classroom and in their debate endeavors. Many of our students come from low-income backgrounds, and ensuring equitable access to materials allows every student the opportunity to participate fully. Your support will help level the playing field, giving these hardworking students the resources they need to achieve their academic and extracurricular goals. We greatly appreciate your consideration and support in fostering the growth and success of our debate program.
