My Students
For most of my students, my classroom is their safe space, a space where they can talk and try new things.
Most of my students live in financially challenging environments and some are food-insecure.
I want them to be able to explore modern science and technology concepts and give them the tools and training to compete in the twenty-first century job market.
My Project
With this Virtual Reality headset, my students will be able to leverage the equipment we already have to create state-of-the-art virtual environments as well as learn the ins and outs of modern software design. students will use the headset to not only take part in virtual worlds but also to create their own. Students will use character and environmental design programs like Unreal Engine and minecraft to create worlds for the class to explore. for most of my students, this will be their first time using these state-of-the-art tools.
