My Project
The atomic model bundle (class kit), provides students opportunity to build 3-D models of the structure of the atom - based on the different theories. Students recognize the differences, similarities and evidences of the theories. In addition the experiments show the behavior of the sub-atomic particles. They will then apply their technology and engineering skills to revise/modify the atomic theory and present and defend their own picture of an atom.
The foam model of an atom-show the basic structure of an atom- which the students can make as a spring board of their inquiry on why and how earlier scientists came to propose their atomic models.
