My Students

The opportunities that our students have today come fast and furious. When it comes to technology I hope to increase their chances of learning new and exciting things every day. These headphones with microphones will give them the chance to expand outside their comfort zones.

My students are fun loving Ninth Graders who have the great task of growing up in the world in which we live.

I cannot imagine the pressures these young adults live under each day. The technologies of today make decisions a "NOW" thing as opposed to "I will get back to you on that." My hope is that these "Great Minds" I stimulate each day will someday be a positive influence on the future of our world. Our high school is a positive place to be each day and I feel that our students want to come to school. We are fortunate in most areas of resources in our school, but we do have areas that need assistance. We have great teachers who care about the person as well as the student.

My Project

My students need 10 sets of headphones with microphones that will allow them to complete projects involving the technology of podcasting. My students look for new horizons. They are willing to try new things that may be outside their normal comfort zone. I am doing my best to produce a "well rounded" student with diversity in their education. Technology is at the forefront for these leaders of our future. They are excited about the opportunity to move forward in their quest to learn new things that will increase their knowledge and opportunity to live a productive and prosperous life. Public Speaking via podcasting is an important part of rounding out these students with the technology of today and tomorrow!

My goal as the Ninth Grade Leadership teacher this year is to: -Direct the "Little Generation That Could" into the technology future with knowledge,confidence,and determination to make a difference in our society.

- The headphones with microphones will give these students self confidence in the area of public speaking. -Your donations will help these students build self confidence,greater awareness, and a knowledge base that will prove to increase the value of our great nation.
