Help me give my students receive their own personal copy of The Wild Robot Escapes to read during the summer. I read Wild Robot in class. I have been emphasizing the importance of reading all school year.
The goal for each of my students this school year was to read 100 or more books. Additionally, I’ve been reading books aloud in class to foster the love and importance of reading. The more you read the more you grow. Reading helps with your imagination and creative writing.
I really caught my students’ attention when I began reading aloud, The Wild Robot.
They would encourage me to keep reading despite the fact that I needed to facilitate learning for the day. School ends in 2.5 weeks. We are in a year around school. I would love to send them home with their own copy of The Wild Robot Escapes to encourage their love for this series and love of reading. We have also all agreed to meet at the movie theater in September to watch the movie.
