I am moving to a third grade self contained classroom next year. I am excited to be back to teaching ELA.
My goal is that my students are engaged in literacy through reading and writing.
For a child to become a competent writer they must be given the opportunity to express ideas through writing. In this grant I have notebooks for each child and fun pens so that my students can write each day. This will help them become more confident in their writing skills.
I know that students learn best in small group. I have added task cards so that my children can work in small groups on different ELA content areas.
