Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will teach a classroom of 20 enthusiastic kindergarteners. Many students arrive hungry and struggle to concentrate by mid-morning. I’m requesting organic, shelf-stable, individually wrapped snacks, such as popcorn and granola bars, to ensure every child can participate fully in learning activities and stay focused until lunchtime.
To be able to provide a morning snack for students who need one, with no stigma, and for all students.
These snacks will help me create structured brain break time, encouraging kids to re-energize while socializing lightly or preparing for the next activity.
