This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are full of energy and curiosity! They are five and six-year-olds who come to school excited to learn. I try to make learning fun and engaging as they learn through play. For some of my students, kindergarten is their first school experience which means that they come with different skills and abilities.
I believe that every child can learn at their own developmental pace.
My goal as their teacher is to provide engaging and challenging learning experiences in a positive and safe environment.
My Project
I'm requesting a computer monitor so that I could improve virtual learning. When we had to transition to distance learning one of my biggest challenges was having the right technology equipment. I had one laptop and was unable to see my students when I would share my screen. My students could see the screen and the lesson presented but I could not see them. Having an additional monitor would allow me to present the lesson but also see my students. I would be able to see their reactions and know who has questions.
A monitor would allow me to give my students the best virtual learning possible.
The docking station will keep the technology devices charged. Thank you for considering our project.
