Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are observant, thoughtful, and resilient. Many come from communities that have long been underrepresented, mischaracterized, or simply ignored. But these students have voices—and they’re learning how to use them.

This project supports racial justice and representation by giving students the tools to make their learning visible and their voices permanent.

The colored paper will be used to create bold projects that highlight identity, community issues, and justice-centered inquiry—work that won’t be quietly filed away or erased.

The printer is a tool of empowerment. It ensures that no student or parent is left without the ability to document, distribute, or retain critical information—whether that’s an accommodation request, a bilingual notice, or a student reflection meant to be shared. In many homes, access to printing is a barrier to participation; this project helps remove that obstacle.

From classroom projects to parent communications, this setup helps students and families preserve what matters, organize their voice, and maintain a record—because truth shouldn’t depend on who has access to a printer.

Justice requires receipts. We’re learning to keep them.
